Xylofun , like many other inventions, was born out of necessity when my friend, a song writer and composer was looking for a beginner method suitable for a three year old.
Because notes were to complex to use, I instead developed a new method which was an immediate success and a lot of fun! After endless nights of tweaking the lessons, I introduced the Xylofun method to older students who had difficulty with conventional learning and just like little Diana, they too would grasp the concept of music because now they could not only hear, but also
see the music!
Times are changing and children prefer to use computers more and more and therefore Xylofun was revised and adapted so that all the lessons could be played on the computer instead of an actual instrument.
During an interview on Shaw TV, Ami Catriona introduced this new method to Vancouver!
I am looking forward to further extend Xylofun with additional instruments and other learning aids and am pleased to announce that soon, Xylofun will also be available for seniors who have a love for music but need a special way to get started.
I'm always happy to answer any questions regarding the Xylofun method which enables creative children to compose music and therefore value your feedback.
